2014-2015

Greetings Brethren;
March’s meeting featured a great presentation by Brother Leo

Kennedy of Lafayette Lodge on Masonic participation in the Civil war. Brother Kennedy who is a Civil War re-enactor entertained and informed us about the role played by Masons on both sides including the joint meetings and communications of Masons despite the conflict.

It causes one to pause and think about the strength of our Fraternity and the real meaning of Brotherhood.

April’s meeting will feature the annual Visit from our Deputy District Grand Master and a couple of changes to the normal schedule, dinner will be served between 6:00 PM and 6:45, with the Lodge opening at 7:00 PM receiving The DDGM and his suite at 7:15. Please make every effort to attend and show your support for The Deputy District Grand Master. Please try and make reservations in advance so Jesse can prepare the appropriate amount of food.

Looking forward to April we are hosting an Ancient Masonic Feast at the Anawan Club in Rehoboth, Ma. On Saturday April 25th. Tickets are $45.00 and reservations must be paid on or prior to April 7th which is the April meeting date. This is a fantastic event and space is limited so make reservations right away. The Feast will feature Roast Tenderloin of Beef as the entree, and a special keepsake glass used for the toasts.

Finally the weather is breaking and despite it our Lodge has been very busy, I want to congratulate the Fellowcraft Club for their outstanding work at the Game Dinner. I also want to extend my thanks to our officers for their great work at the EA lectures.

Fraternally,
Steven B. Waxman
