2018 – 2019

Dear Harmony Lodge Family,

s I write this message, I’m looking at blue skies and the thermometer reading50 outside, I think I say it for everyone; very happy that Spring has sprung! Spring is one of my favorite seasons. It is a time of renewal, not just for nature, but for us, as well. Just as the many plants awaken from their long, winter slumber and bloom, so do we. Harmony began her Spring awakening with theAnnual Henry Rossi Memorial Game Dinner, and this year’s was anotherphenomenal success. My sincere congratulations and thank you to everyone involved. Although it is a lot of work, it is also a great opportunity for fellowship. Thank you to everyone who participated! Our March meeting was full of memorable events. The night began with a fantastic Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner, put on by Lisa Dupre and her crew. When I spoke with Lisa about preparing the meal, she was a little nervous, but it was obvious she had little reason to be – I heard nothing but raves. Thank you Lisa! Our regular communication was again the foundation for the conferring of the EA degree onour final candidate rounding out this year’s class of eight and then our officerspresented to lectures attached to this degree to all eight. The officers did strong work in their deliveries and I am appreciative of the amount of time and effort sacrificed to do this very important work. We are all looking forward to Fellow Craft degree coming up on Saturday April 13th at 9am and the delivery of the Middle Chamber Lecture by Brother Senior Deacon Josh Edwards and my foray into the Letter G. I want to say a word about this class in that these men are an exceptional group, I have spent time with them this past week recounting the lectures and going into deeper discussion about their meaning and the effort was appreciated and valuable to them. They already have a strong grasp of their proficiencies and I am looking forward to them going before the Brethren in Lodge on the 13th.

This past Saturday the Officers and I performed the Masonic Memorial Service for our most beloved brother Rolvin Allen, having spent quite a bit of time with over the last three years I was honored to preside at this service for his family which was well attended by the brothers of Harmony, his fellow brothers from the Shrine Clown organization and of course his family and friends.

Coming up in April in addition to the Fellow Craft Degree will be our annualChildren’s Easter Party on Saturday April 13th from 12p to 3p directly following the FC Degree. Please make sure you look at all the other dates of events coming in April and join us for whatever you can.

Finally, I want to recognize all the hard work that your Officers have been doing this year. We’ve got a solid line of quality men, and they are all meeting the challenge. They continue to exhibit the same hard work and love of the Lodge we’ve come to expect. They not only makeme look good, but are fantastic representatives of Harmony Lodge. Thank you, Brothers, for all you do!

Fraternally,

Robert Izzi Worshipful Master
