Brethren,
I wanted to provide you with an update on ongoing planning activities for the 2016-2017 Masonic year. As you know, Harmony Lodge conducts its annual meeting on the third Tuesday in November, which consists of an initial business meeting followed by a semi-public installation of officers. This year, we will have a “split” installation, meaning the annual meeting will be conducted as usual on November 15; however the semi-public installation of officers will occur on Saturday December 3, 2016 at 2pm, and then followed by the annual banquet at 6pm. This will allow my family to travel from Canada to participate in the semi-public installation. I appreciate your understanding in accommodating this schedule. Further specific details of the annual meeting with be forthcoming in the upcoming months.

In addition, as I continue planning for the upcoming Masonic year, I am looking for, and encouraging members who want to make a more active contribution to Lodge activities to contact me. I would ask that requests be made by June 1. This request is made based on feedback from several members recommending greater inclusion of the membership in planning and execution of lodge activities.
