Harmony Lodge #9 F.& A.M.

2009-2010

Brothers and Ladies,

Can you believe it’s September already? I pray this finds you all well and rested, for as usual Harmony is about to hit the ground running. Here are some dates to remember:

September 11, 2010 is our annual Ladies At The Table dinner at 7:00pm, the cost is $35.00 per couple. Please contact me with all reservations by September 7.

The Master Mason degree rehearsal for officers is on Sept 9  and the entire cast rehearsal is Sept 16 both at 7:30pm at the lodge. The Master Mason degree will follow on September 23 with a 5:00pm opening with dinner at 6:30pm followed by second session around 7:30pm.

Please look to the calendar for other events like the game night, date night and fellow craft. There is something going on at Harmony Lodge almost every week so come out and join us.

I tend to call my brother Masons my family and I saw an example of that this past weekend when I hosted my daughter’s baby shower. After taking a moment to step back and marvel at the crowd of some ninety people wandering around my backyard I was so impressed by the diversity of the people there noticing most of the men were master masons.

I was discussing with Frank Allen (great grandpa) our family history which stretches back some fifty years and realized our newest arrival will make it five generations of our relationship between our two families.

Again from the bottom of my heart I thank you all for your generosity and for sharing your time with my family throughout this day and the years we have been together.

Speaking of the picnic I must apologize for not taking a moment at Harmony’s picnic to address you all and thank you for attending and to recognize the outstanding job our sentinel, Ray Roy and the class of 2010 did that day.

To our special ladies just a quick note letting you know that we are thinking of you and should you need anything from Harmony lodge all you need to do is call.

In closing as always my brothers, may the blessings of heaven rest upon you and yours till we are together again..

Fraternally,

Jesse H. Edwards III
