Desplaines<\/strong><\/p>\n Worshipful Master<\/strong><\/p>\n Harmony Lodge #9 F.&A.M.<\/strong><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”3_4″ _builder_version=”4.4.9″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.4.9″]<\/p>\n Brothers, 2020 is coming to and end and the New Year is upon us: hopefully it will be better and Covid free.<\/span><\/p>\n In December we had the Christmas party <\/span>\u201c<\/span>drive by<\/span>\u201d <\/span>for the kids of the Lodge and it was well attended. I would like to thank Brother Sr. Steward Jan Zukowski for planning the event: he did a fantastic job. I would also like to thank Brother Senior Warden Josh Edwards (Clark Griswold) and his wife Courtney for the use of his house and beautifully decorated yard, and also filling in for that jolly old elf St Nick. I would also like to thank Mrs. Clause aka Missy Edwards. It was a great evening seeing the Brothers and their families, even while maintaining social distancing. We also collected Toys for Tots and Brother Senior Warden says there were enough toys to fill the back of his wife<\/span>\u2019<\/span>s car. Thank you.<\/span><\/p>\n Thanks also to Brother Junior Warden Jeremy Newton and his own band of elves as they put together gift baskets that were delivered to a number of Brothers and Special Ladies in lieu of our annual December visitations.<\/span><\/p>\n Not a lot to report for up coming events as the Lodge is still closed. I am thinking of events we can do via Zoom. I have been given some great ideas and I am working out the logistics of these events.
