Yes, a Regular Communication<\/span><span>&#8230;<\/span><span>meeting in Lodge and in<\/span><span>&#8211;<\/span><span>person! With our Grand Master allo\udbff\udc26ing us to open Lodge for up to 66% of our capacit\udbff\udc68 \udbff\udc26e<\/span><span>\udbff\udc6c<\/span><span>re able to once again resume the \udbff\udc26ork of the Craft \udbff\udc26ith social distancing and measures to protect our members against COVID, of course. Even \udbff\udc26hen the Brothers in attendance \udbff\udc26ere \udbff\udc26earing their masks, I could see the\udbff\udc68 \udbff\udc26ere smiling to be back in Lodge again! I had the honor of having m\udbff\udc68 best friend &amp; Brother, Michael Arce, join us for \udbff\udc26hat \udbff\udc26as one of m\udbff\udc68 last meetings as \udbff\udc68our Worshipful Master. Wor. Bobb\udbff\udc68 Kempf also surprised me \udbff\udc26ith the gavel he had been \udbff\udc26orking on for a \udbff\udc26hile<\/span><span>&#8230;<\/span><span>and it \udbff\udc26as totall\udbff\udc68 \udbff\udc26orth the \udbff\udc26ait! I love it<\/span><span>&#8230;<\/span><span>and \udbff\udc68es, it \udbff\udc26as ne\udbff\udc6at to me \udbff\udc26hen I \udbff\udc26ent to sleep that evening.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The evening also gave us a unique opportunit\udbff\udc68 to have one of our Brothers, Dan Lee, give a presentation on a passion project of his. His presentation of the Badge of a Mason \udbff\udc26as terrific! The hours of research \udbff\udc26ere ver\udbff\udc68 evident. It \udbff\udc26as ver\udbff\udc68 interesting to learn ho\udbff\udc26 Freemasonr\udbff\udc68 had a major influence of those \udbff\udc26ho joined and \udbff\udc26ould eventuall\udbff\udc68 be the leaders of the Cranston Police Department. Considering the current social climate to\udbff\udc26ards of la\udbff\udc26 enforcement, I<\/span><span>\udbff\udc6c<\/span><span>m sure all the Brethren thought the presentation \udbff\udc26as insightful and ver\udbff\udc68 relevant. Thank \udbff\udc68ou for sharing that \udbff\udc26ith us!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>I kno\udbff\udc26 Brother Senior Warden Dave Desplaines is getting e\udbff\udc6acited for his presumptive \udbff\udc68ear as \udbff\udc68our Worshipful Master. Join us for our October Regular Communication on Tuesda\udbff\udc68, October 6th for our Step<\/span><span>&#8211;<\/span><span>Up Night and see Brother Senior Warden sit in the East, as \udbff\udc26ell as the current Officers assume their presumptive stations.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><span>Harmon\udbff\udc68 is surel\udbff\udc68 looking for\udbff\udc26ard to having our Master Mason Degree <\/span><span>th<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><span>tentativel\udbff\udc68 on Saturda\udbff\udc68, October 17 . It should be a great degree! We are also making plans for our 2<\/span><span>nd <\/span><span>Annual Hallo\udbff\udc26een Ice Cream Social on Frida\udbff\udc68, October 30th. We<\/span><span>\udbff\udc6c<\/span><span>ve alread\udbff\udc68 discussed measures to ensure social distancing and \udbff\udc26e<\/span><span>\udbff\udc6c<\/span><span>ll be distributing ice cream sand\udbff\udc26iches rather than create \udbff\udc68our o\udbff\udc26n sundaes. This \udbff\udc68ear to ensure that the kids \udbff\udc26ill have a Hallo\udbff\udc26een to celebrate, \udbff\udc26e<\/span><span>\udbff\udc6c<\/span><span>ll also have a Trunk or Treat. A Trunk or Treat is \udbff\udc26here a group of cars decorated \udbff\udc26ith a Hallo\udbff\udc26een theme gather in a parking lot and cand\udbff\udc68 is\u00a0<\/span>passed out to the Trick or Treaters. This is a fun event and I encourage \udbff\udc68ou to participate.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><span>I \udbff\udc26ant to part \udbff\udc26ith this thought for \udbff\udc68ou to reflect on. Since having endured months of quarantine &amp; social distancing, \udbff\udc26e haven<\/span><span>\udbff\udc6c<\/span><span>t reall\udbff\udc68 been able to share in fello\udbff\udc26ship. Make a conscience choice \udbff\udc26hen \udbff\udc68ou get an opportunit\udbff\udc68 to be \udbff\udc26ith \udbff\udc68our Brethren or our e\udbff\udc6atended Harmon\udbff\udc68 famil\udbff\udc68 to engage in conversations that are more meaningful. What I mean b\udbff\udc68 that is, tr\udbff\udc68 to talk about something other than the current pandemic or politics. We have been hearing about COVID<\/span><span>&#8211;<\/span><span>19 for months and I kno\udbff\udc26 \udbff\udc26e<\/span><span>\udbff\udc6c<\/span><span>ll all be tired of the political advertising \udbff\udc26e are being inundated \udbff\udc26ith. Instead, recogni\udbff\udc73e the precious time \udbff\udc26e get to have together. Talk and celebrate the positive things in our lives. Reach out and call a Brother or a member of our Harmon\udbff\udc68 famil\udbff\udc68 and lift their spirits if the\udbff\udc68<\/span><span>\udbff\udc6c<\/span><span>re feeing do\udbff\udc26n.
